Who we are

santacruzadu.com is run by WS Builders, Inc., a general contractor building across Santa Cruz County, California contractor license 874257. It holds our ADU quiz and the page for booking a feasibility call. Our main website is wsbuilders.us.

What we collect

Only what you choose to give us, plus how you use this site:

• Your quiz answers and your email address.
• If you book a call: your name, phone number, email, property address and anything you write in the notes.
• How you reached us: if you came from an ad or a tagged link, the click ID and campaign details it carried (for example from Google or Meta). Your browser keeps these for 90 days so the booking page still knows where you came from, and they are sent along with your form.
• How you use the site: pages viewed, clicks and screen recordings of visits, collected by PostHog. What you type into form fields is hidden from those recordings.

How we use it

To send your quiz result, to call you about your project, to prepare for a site walk and, if you hire us, to run the job. After the quiz or a booking request, Josh sends a short series of follow-up emails. Reply stop to any of them and they end.

Measuring our advertising

We may send Google and Meta your email address and phone number in scrambled (hashed) form, together with the ad click ID, so they can tell us which of our ads led to real conversations and projects. They match this against their own records. We do not sell your information, and we do not let anyone else use it to market to you.

Where it is kept

Form submissions are received by Netlify, which hosts this site. Our lead list is kept in Baserow, email runs through Google Workspace, and site analytics are kept by PostHog. Each keeps standard logs, including IP addresses, for security.

Cookies

PostHog sets a cookie and uses your browser's storage to recognise repeat visits, and we store the ad details described above in your browser. You can block or clear these in your browser settings and the quiz will still work.

Your choices

You can ask what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, including from our advertising measurement. Email josh@santacruzadu.com or call (831) 818-4321.

If this policy changes, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
